Welcome to the TCC Library's Faculty Resources Guide
Welcome to the Faculty Resources Guide! This guide has been designed just for you by TCC faculty librarians to provide a convenient portal to the rich array of services and resources the Library offers to you and your students. With its sizeable print collection of books, journals and DVDs plus access to over 40,000 e-books, 8,000 eVideos and 150 subscription databases, the TCC Library is a powerhouse of fabulous information all there at your fingertips with your TCC ID.
But want to know what our best resource is? It’s our team of fabulous information professionals – our TCC librarians! Check out the Librarian section of this guide to find out who is assigned to work with your division and contact him or her today. Our librarians can assist you in navigating our information resources, but can also work with you to design state-of-the art research experiences for your students. We all want our students to be savvy users and evaluators of information and the librarians can show you ways to incorporate information literacy competencies into your courses. They can also provide research instruction classes in the Library or in your classes – both on campus and online. The possibilities are endless! Just ask!
We welcome you to offer suggestions for ways we can improve our service to you, but, most of all, we welcome YOU!
